Atx Extension, is it safe to use it on PSU?

Hello! Is ATX extension cable safe to use? I am looking to put braided 24 pin, 6 and 8 for GPU and 8 for CPU, can I just get it and use safety or are there any drawbacks?

It depends on your power supply - many will only work with the cables they are supplied with, or equivalents from the manufacturer

Just make sure they are high quality and of sufficient gauge

Should work remember though it connects to the end of the cable that comes with your PSU not to the PSU itself.
