360 gamepad for pc gaming(windows 8)

Solution
the non ms version is not compactible with win 8 while ms version is
i wouldnt force you to get the ms one ,
it would be safer , and should not face any kind of driver error since it is from MS

So for the $15 more(double the price!) it is the safer/better bet?
I dont want to find out that the drivers do not work with the non MS version which was my biggest fear?

Solution
Get the official ms version, as someone who is currently building one hell of a hyperspin (emulator container program) machine I can tell you the price difference between authentic and knock off is easily worth double the price.

The quality, the weight (due to quality) and the construction of these game pads will pay for themselves because they won't need to be replaced after a year.

Thanks for the reply, i did read (since posting this thread)that the knockoffs are kind of cheap and not as dependable as the MS version and may have drivers compatibility issues).
So i will spend the extra $$$ for those reasons without any complaints. :)
