Audio technica ad700x with asus xonar u7

I have currently bought ath ad700x based on many reviews for good positional audio, my question here is should i use onboard audio(which is realtek ALC892) or upgrade to asus xonar u7?
I am doing this mainly for FPS gaming primarily BF4 and BFH.

Any help/suggestions would be deeply appreciated.

I've read reviews of motherboards using the ALC892 and it's performace is not stellar, but for games should be more than good. Unless you are listening to high bitrate multi-channel music you won't notice the difference.
