Windows 7 Suddenly Slow To Boot Up (Gaming Computer)?

So in the last few weeks, maybe month, my computer, which I only built 4-5 months ago, has started taking AGES to boot up.

It's a gaming PC, not the BEST spec, but a respectable 8gb, 1TB HDD, AMD Piledriver 3.5ghz 6 core CPU, a 3GB R9 280X GPU and a Gigabyte Ultra Durable motherboard.

I have a 1TB external Samsung HDD attached constantly, which is only a month old, a game pad plugged in and a USB cord for charging my phone.

I tested the boot up time with all of these externals attached and it took 2:16 for it to get to the password screen. Ridiculously slow given my friends older, more out of date computer takes about 15 seconds to get to his desktop from pressing the on button.

With all of these unplugged it still takes 2:13 seconds, so I see no relation between the devices plugged in and the time it takes to boot.

I have around 200GB of my HDD free. And 900GB of my external free.

I use CCleaner to clean my device frequently. I have no malware.
I also use CCleaner to address any registry problems every now and then and have seen no improvement.

To give you an idea of what I generally have installed, a majority of my HDD is used by games, some used by software such as FL Studio and Photoshop, Dolphin (that emulator software) and some other bits.

Yes, I download torrents but I have no viruses. The reason I've mentioned all this is because, quite frankly, I'm out of any ideas as to what it is, and my OCD is going mad at what it could be. Literally, I turned my PC on one day and immediately noticed it was a lot slower at the boot up. Generally normal performance hasn't been affected but my icons on the desktop can take a good few seconds to load sometimes.

EDIT: Just to add my computer temps are normal. CPU runs about 17-20c on Idle and GPU is about 30-45c.
Any ideas? I will be eternally thankful lmao.

Thanks.

Hello... 1) There are many places and files from the internet/temp locations/installs/cookies that can build up and never get erased unless you manually know where to look for them. This will cause alot of Fragmentation of Files on a Hardrive.
2) Type MSCONFIG and look to see what APPS you have given permission to Startup during BOOT.
3) do you have "Core Parking" disabled? it is enabled by Default.
4) disable any "page file.sys" on your USB Externals.
5) Platter hardrives are SLOW.

Delete the temp folder in the Windows folder on your main drive. this should free up space. Also uninstall anything that you dont need. Those programs could and will slow your system down.
