radeon r9 270 vs gtx 750 TI

Hey,
I'm planning on buying a pc for mostly editing and gaming.I'm getting so far a Intel i7 4790k with 8gb corsair ram and a 500w 80plus corsair psu, but which graphics card.the radeon r9 270 or a nvidea gtx 750to. People say that nvidea work better with Intel.really appreciate who ever could help and thanks!

The R9 270 is a more capable card. That thing about AMD not mixing up with Intel is pure bollocks. In the past there was some flaming against AMD because they had a reputation for bad drivers, but that seems to have been dealt with for a while. The 750 Ti is an elegant solution because it can do a lot with absurdly little power, and consequently little heat. But in terms of performance, the 270 is the clear winner.

I have a 750 Ti in my HTPC, and I'm amazed at how much it can do with 70W and a dead silent cooler, but I only bought it because I already have a more capable card in my main rig. I vote for the R9 270.

Between the two the 270 is quite a bit more powerful.

there is no such thing. you can pair AMD gpu with intel or AMD cpu just fine. the same goes with nvidia card. performance wise it is 270 win. no contest. 750Ti is even slower than 660 that is slower than 270.
