Originally i went with the asrock z97 extreme 4 for its blue and black theme, but after realising it was out of stock in my local store i suddenly didnt gave a crap about looks and wanted performance instead. I wouldnt mind paying a little bit more for a better board. Heres the specs
i7 4790k
dual gigabyte g1 gaming 970s
evga g2 850w psu
16gb corsair vengeance ram (i already have these)
corsair h100i cooler
Im currently considering the Gigabyte z97 gaming 7 or the asrock z97x fatal1ty killer. Any other suggestions? Onboard audio quality does not matter to me at all since i have my own external dac/amp. i will be overclocking the cpu and both gpus as well. I am kinda hesitant on buying asus rog stuff as i heard they are a bit overpriced.
EDIT: My budget is around 200 dollars max.
