I just made a new build and when I turn it on with MINIMUM things plugged (without external GPU) I got very short and endless beeps. Then after a while it restarts.

My motherboard is GA-Z97P-D3 and i5-4690K CPU. Based on Gigabyte codes that means Continuous short beep ?Power supply unit failed.
My PSU is 600W. For sure enough for this mobo.

I am sure that I have connected both power cables and they are sitting super well.

I installed the CPU myself and the fan on it (no thermal paste was there).
CPU fan starts fine.

Tried to remove RAM, the beeps are the same (so I suppose RAM is not the problem or can it be?)

What else can it be? Can be something with the CPU or then the beeps would be different?

Would be happy for help asap :)

Thanks, I read this already.

I have removed all the components so most of the stuff he mentions doesn't apply there. But anyway, instead of doing through all the points, I am trying to identify the problem by the beeps code..

I have checked that I plugged the two power cables to the motherboard (I have to plug both, right? :) )

Yes there should be 2 wires pluged in.
