Ok, so I bought a Z87 Motherboard and am already wishing I would have got Z97 after figuring out they are practically the same price and z97 just have a little more benefits to them. My Question is will I have to do a bios update for my motherboard running a i5-4690k? I also saw on my mobo it has a few stickers on it that say 1505 on the box and on the motherboard, does that mean it has that latest bios which will allow me to skip that process? Thanks!

That's probably what it means and if it does, then you do not have to update the BIOS for your processor to work (requires 1504). You won't know until you actually attempt to boot it and see what BIOS version is installed.

Yep, the only way to know is to boot it with the CPU and see. Most high end mobo does have support for updating the BIOS without a CPU, so if that's a concern, you may want to look into that option with the Hero just in case.
