Question is in the title. Will the MSI P67A-C43 (MS-7673) motherboard be compatible with the GTX 970? I currently have the 550 ti, and I'm looking to upgrade. Other specs are:

550W Power supply
8 gig DDR3 RAM
1 TB of Hard Drive storage.

someone told me recently that I might have issues because my motherboard probably has an older chipset. Is that really the case? Or am I 100% good to go?

I'm not extremely tech savy so that's why I'm asking, and still don't quite understand. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1277082 this is the computer I currently own and plan to upgrade. If its not too much to ask, from what you see, does my motherboard have what I need?

Systemax's website is trash, so I'm not sure what kind of mobo is in there, but given the i7 and the 550ti on there currently, I'd say it's a safe bet that the mobo has a pcie 3.0 slot. In other words, it should be fine.
