Hello everyone!

I've been thinking on upgrading my PC's CPU. Currently I have the AMD FX-4170 at 4.2Ghz and I was thinking on making a jump to the AMD FX-9590 being that it isn't so expensive now. As such, I need to know if this CPU will work with my motherboard or if i will also need to purchase a new one as well. (I do know they are both socket AM3+) I've heard rumors of the 9590 being rather choosy with what boards it will work with. Right now I have the ASUS M5197 LE R2 board. If it will not work with my board, any suggestions as to what I should buy? (within a reasonable amount preferably) Also as a side note, I would be getting the 9590 that comes with the water cooling and not just the CPU itself. Lastly, I would also like to hear anyone's thoughts on this CPU!

Yes I did. Sorry haha, I re-read that like 3 times and still missed it somehow! So is there any moderately priced boards that would support this (like under $150) also would you recommend this cpu or have any experience with it? I'm still doing research on it as i type this but I'm not entirely sold yet. I mean my cpu is fast, but it is also pretty aged at this point.
