Run different programs through different audio devices.

Hello All!
I need help on how to run different programs on different audio devices.
I have my speakers plugged in through the default channel (line out) but i also have a pair of wireless headphones which connect through SPDIF (Optical). I'd like to be able to play music through my speakers but certain things through my headphones.

Unfortunately most of the games I play lack such a feature.

Well, I am actually doing what you want to do, but my "solution" might not work for you.

I`m using multi-seat. This is basically an application that allows you to run two (or more) user accounts at one. Meaning that I have two desks , two monitors, keyboards and mice, that are used individually (including sound input and output) from only one computer.
Meaning both me and my wife can use their own "compute" at the same time.

However, I`m not sure if you want to go through this hassle just to get sound output through different channels.
