I m looking for R9 290 or R9 290X AMD Cards.
Sapphire
XFX
ASUS
MSI

I didnt see Sapphire or XFX Cards for NVIDIA GPUs.
Does that mean they are the best for AMD?

And yeah Should I go for Crossfire in these cards?
I m talking about heat .If the performance is equivalent to gtx 980 level then I can compromise with heat though.
Thank you

Sapphire in my opinion is the best (my preference). It's a good balance of performance, customer service, and cooling. In my opinion the Tri-x OC and Vapor-x is one of the best out there.

But in terms of the other companies there is no wrong.

XFX has stellar warranty and customer support (coming from seasonic it's quality too), but cooling is okay. Their cards look really good though (talking about the DD editions).

Asus has one of the best cooling and power design in the crop. Usually their cards overclock the best, but still minimal to the others.

MSI is sort of a 50/50 here. Their card is still good but there's no extra bit to it. It's good cooling...

MSI is sort of a 50/50 here. Their card is still good but there's no extra bit to it. It's good cooling, decent base clocks, and ok looks. Customer support is also a 50/50. BUT their lighting card is part of the fastest and coolest cards.

Gigabyte and Club also have good cards. In all, there really is no wrong in any 290 or 290x. It's all dependent on the preference. Performance, cooling, or overclocking. In my opinion Sapphire is the winner.

Also, two of these cards will require a hefty power supply. Two of them will definitely cook eggs better than a single 980 (I think a single 980 can only freeze meat...jk XD) and rip the wattage out of your socket. Be prepared. Hopefully this helped make your decision.
