Need help with some harddrive stuff

The guys above are totally right! You can do this, but as @laviniuc mentioned the 2.5" mobile drives are significantly slower and less powerful than the 3.5" regular desktop drives. In order to put it in your new PC build you will need an HDD caddy that will hold the drive inside (because of the 2.5" form factor).
I guess it would be a good secondary storage solution in the rig, though. But I wouldn't recommend using it as a boot drive.
