Hello all! I read a lot the forum but its my first post here...
I used to have an htpc ( opteron 180 dual core 2.4 ghz ,2gb ddr ram , gtx260) which i use for browsing youtube and leage of legends. (1920x1080p)
Before few days i replaced it with an a8 7600 , a88xm plus and 1x4gb ddr3 ram 2133.
With my past system i had 60-70-80 fps on lol and yesterday i tested the new. i disappointed when i saw 30-20 even 13fps.
i downloaded unigine heaven 4.0 and the results was even worst, 6-8-10fps.
i have updated the bios , check drivers chipset from asus page, i have set the tdm to 65w, the gpu boost button on mobo is on, checked graphics driver.
is a8 7600 so week or i am doing somenthing wrong?

Solution
You may want to throw another stick or RAM in, the APUs will take maximum advantage from fast RAM (which you already have) but adding a second stick will allow it to utilize dual channel performance.

no i use no video card. Only the apu graphics

Do you think i must try a game to play with?
@maddogfargo i have already done that.

My next move should be to buy one more stick. I didnt get it at first because of low budget. If there is someone whith the same prossecor would be nice to perform the same test. Is there somethink else (not unigine heaven) to test on?
Now i just tried again lol and the results was better..

IF you want to game get graphic card or trow your GTX260 back in for better performance.Adding more RAM wont help low end R7 GPU inside A8 7600 to get better performance at 1080p even in LoL. IF you can go refund CPU and get Athlon 2 X4 860k or 760k and pair it with your GTX260 for better performance.

Somethink i didnt mension at first is that i dont want to play games with this build. I only watch movies and play lol. I wrong understood that the r7 240 graphics should be better than gtx260 i used to have before. And that's why i though i was doing something wrong.
Another solution for further upgrade will be to add a cheap r7 240 for dual graphics?

No it wont work only A10 7850k and r7 250x can do dual graphic, rest cant.Getting r7 240 will be waste of money cuz that card is worthless.Better save up money and buy some thing like GTX 750 Ti or some cheap 2nd hand GPU.

I just downloaded furmark gpu stress test. I let it 5 minutes at 1920x1080 full screen aa off and it gives me only 6 fps. Can someone with same cpu confirm the results?
It seems so poor to me...

I have an A8-7600 I use for HTPC type duties and I've already spotted your problem.

Before few days i replaced it with an a8 7600 , a88xm plus and 1x4gb ddr3 ram 2133

APU's utilize system ram the exact same way that dGPU's utilize graphics ram. The #1 largest determiner for dGPU performance is the graphics bandwidth available to it with higher model cards having ever larger GDDR memory bus's. You've crippled your APU by utilizing a single memory stick which halves your graphics memory bandwidth. Get a second stick of identical memory, and I can't stress the identical part enough, and you will definitely see a massive increase in FPS.

The A8-7600's are for HTPC and casual gaming without a graphics card, they will never compete with a dedicated GDDR card of course yet considering that APU was ~$100 USD and the cheapest GDDR5 dGPU is about $80 USD, well you get what you paid for.

at first the reason to replace my past system was the noise that it was making. thats why i choose to replace the noisy and power consuption gtx260.
For now i am coverded from my new system abillities for the use that i make. i will try to take another stick of ram and will you the results.
Thank you all for your answers

I have to agree with Palladin here - I have an A8-7600 in one of my media PC's hooked up to my TV.

Best idea is get yourself another stick of 4gb RAM, same speed (exactly the same brand & model if you can) and you should see a great increase in performance. With an APU it uses your system memory for the GPU, so the more & faster you can get - the better.

That is what i am going to do. actually the dimm that i have is hyper x savage 2400 but the cpu can support only as fast as 2133. now i am gonna buy again the same 2400 to match it for dual channel

hello again
today i bought another stick of ram.and pluged it in. the results was clear. 50-100% increase for all benchmark tests. i picked @burdenbound's post as a solution because he was the first to tell me about the ram but i want to thank you all for your help. i started to love my apu again...!!!
