Solution

Hello DanPal,

That config will work fine. But consider these:

Note:
The prices are, as of writing this solution, from Newegg.com.

1. Instead of Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P (priced at $69.99) get any one of the following better options:

- ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 priced [$79.99 less $10 rebate card] at $69.99
[Receive a USD $10 prepaid card by mail from ASUS! Offer expires on 4/30/15]
Note that you get a better motherboard for the same cost of Gigabyte motherboard. I would recommend this only, If are on tight budget.
(OR)
- ASUS M5A97 R2.0 priced at $93.99
Why buy this instead of ASUS M5A97...
The power phases on that motherboard are not as good as I would want for a FX 8320. The ASUS M5A97 R2.0 is the cheapest I'd use, and ASRock 970 Extreme 3 R2.0 or Gigabyte GA-970A- UD3 or UD3P.

I would also want a PSU with better capacitors than that for a high-performance gaming rig. The Seasonic S12II 620 Bronze is significantly better and costs only $2.00 more. If you use rebates, there are other good choices at the same or less cost.

Hello DanPal,

Why buy this instead of ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0?
(OR)
- ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0 priced [$119.99 less $20 rebate card] at $99.99 [Sweet Deal!, IMO]
[Receive a USD $20 prepaid card by mail from ASUS! Offer expires on 4/30/15]
Why buy this instead of ASUS M5A97 R2.0?

2. The recommended PSU for R9 270X is only 500w. So I would advice you to consider this:

- CORSAIR CX500M priced [$59.99 less $20 rebate card] at $39.99
[Receive a USD $20 prepaid card by mail from CORSAIR! Offer expires on 4/21/15]

Note:

- As you could save $20 on PSU, you can easily spend this money on ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0 priced [$119.99 less $20 rebate card] at $99.99
- Get CORSAIR CX600M, ONLY if you've plans to upgrade to a higher GPU in near future. Also consider the fact that the R9 370x from the new AMD R9 300 series (expected to release in May-June 2015) will consume less power and may still work fine with CX500M. But if have plans to upgrade to anything above R9 370x, then you may require the CX600M or higher

So my recommendation is this:

AMD FX 8320E Processor
ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0
MSI R9 270X Gaming 2GB
CORSAIR CX500M

Cheers!
