The RM Series is the top of the line PSU from Corsair and has excellent reviews online. Further, it is 80+ gold certified.

The only 2 cons that I know of are:
1) Its a bit pricier compared with the CS series, which I think is also 80+ Gold Certified.
2) Even though it is advertised as silent, at loads higher than 50 %, the fan starts to become a bit audible (Nothing very loud, but audible nevertheless)

In the price range of the Cooler Master GM series, that you were considering earlier, I would suggest the CS series, which is also modular.

But if you want to go a bit pricier, then the RM Series are a far better choice than the CM GM series AT about 1K+ extra price), and definitely better in build quality than the CS series.

Hence, my suggestion would be to compare and read about the CS series first and only if you think that you still have a bit of cash to spare, and want the absolute best from Corsair, then RM is the way to go, else the CS is good enough.
