You should also get an HD monitor, otherwise the games will look pretty poor with that resolution.

Don't go thinking that'll be perfect, it's just the best you can really hope for with your budget, you can expect good frame rates with medium/good detail at 1080p.

Yeah, thats not worth upgrading. I would save if I were you and build a computer when you had enough. I did that, my rig works great. If not that then get a PS4 or xbone. Either console will be better than a 300.00 build or 300.00 worth of upgrades.

IM PRETTY SURE THIS IS AN APRIL FOOLS JOKE!!!! GOOD ONE HAD ME GOIN!!! LOL LMAO!!!!

Upgrading that Old computer with ddr2 ram is so bad of an idea you should feel bad for even researching a processor, you might be trying to help but your help will only end up hurting him in the long run.

Please Don't upgrade that ancient piece of hardware,Computers are only mean't to have a 4-5 year life cycle 7-8 years at the most. ,Yes a processor can last 20+ years but you need a better psu/ram/mobo to stay update with the latest software.

I wouldn't give this guy's computer to my worse enemy :p

According to people here your pc isn't worth upgrading. But I cannot see a way you can build a good gaming PC for $400, this is a vague breakdown

$185 for a quad core CPU
$45 for a cheap motherboard
$75 for 8gb Ram
$45 for a new power supply as your old one may not have the connections needed
$120 graphics (750Ti)

That's $470 whilst re using the old case and hard drive etc and then I really must insist you get an HD monitor which is another $100 on top

Plus these are American prices, they may cost more in India
