do i have to get l memory?

i have 4gb 1600mhz ddr3 L memory i want to add another 4gb because i use win8 64bit and its always around %40-50 even while nothing running
i also may instal 32bit win8 without adding ram what should i do?
i use engineering design applications generally and sometime i play games but not good laptop for gaming
does it have to be L memory?

is it possible i can use this 2 video cards together and also my processor says up to 2.4 but i dont think it ever goes 2.4

I would advice you to get the same exact make and model memory that you have now.

mixing memory is never a good idea.

getting the additional 4GB memory and using a 64Bit OS will help improve running your applications if they are windows8 compatible.

you should be able to run a second video card.

Solution
Go to Crucial.com, run the scanner they have to read your current setup. You want to make sure your RAM is in a single 4 gig stick not two 2 gig sticks. Most laptops only have 2 RAM slots, if you don't check and buy another one, you will have to toss one of your RAM sticks and you will only have 6 not 8 gig.

You can also get the RAM from there, the price is not the best you can find, but they guarantee compatibility.
