How much wattage do i need?

Hi i was wondering how much power do i need for my rig..but i already bought psu which has 500watts.
Heres my build:
Cpu:amd fx-6300
Psu: evga 500 80+bronze
Mobo:asus m5a99fx pro r2.o
:gpu evga gtx 960
Ram:hyperx 6gb kit
Ssd: samsung 850 pro 120gb
Hhd: wd 1tb
Hd:asus blu-ray
I have tried those psu calculator but seems like kinda wrong..im not doing any overclocking.. Thanks!!

You should be fine as long as you don't overclock. The FX chips consume a lot of power once overclocked. As an added note, that PSU wasn't really designed for high end overclocking anyway. They have much higher end models for that.

I just used outervision's PSU calculator, and it said 379w recommended, and about 320w minimum.

You are good with this PSU provided you don't overclock. Your system should consume not more than 370 w under heavy load with stock speed and voltage.....so you are okay ! Don't worry there's enough room .
You should have chosen an intel processor as they are less power hungry than amd.
The thing is that this processor i.e. fx 6300 is really an old processor having a big fabricating process which is the reason for its high TDP and hifh heating/cooling issue.

But i think that you will face some bottlenecks as the processor is relatively weaker than the GPU.

Well 379w was what outervision PSU calculator gave me when I inputted everything. Maybe he did the same....

Seriously with the 6300 & 960 both at 100% load I very very much doubt that power draw will even touch 300w!
The PSU is plenty even for a decent 4.3/4.3ghz over clock.

There is also no way on this planet the 6300 will bottleneck a mid-range GPU like the 960 ,even at stock speeds.

Thanks guys..i appreciate all your answer.. Helped a lot knowing my psu can handle this build..now i can start building my rig..my gpu will come in tuesday thats all i need..im all set and getting ready to start this baby!!!

And btw i already know that my cpu and gpu won't bottleneck since i already checked it with techy experts and as madmatt have said..andni wouldn't buy or pait those together if they botleneck one tiny bit..and thanks again really guys..this was all i needed to completly and confidently build this rig.
