Stuck between two cases

I need help deciding between these two specific cases, the Corsair 350D and the NZXT S340. I love the look of the nzxt (black/blue) and its simplistic design, although its common for the side window to get scratched easily. What i like about the corsair is its rubber grommets for easier cable management than the nzxt and it has slots for possible internal cd drives. id be happy with either but obviously i need to choose one. Please anyone with experience in using one or both of these cases please tell me the hands on pros and cons of each?

Solution
I personally would go with the 350D, while the NZXT looks better, I don't think it's worth the lack of 5.25' drive bays to get it.

I have the corsair 450D (mid tower version of the 350D), and it's a awesome case!! Cable management is nice, and has 5.25 drive bays aswell as multiple radiator mounts. Here is my build: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/X6jcCJ

Only think I wish the 450D had is a few inches more of room behind the mobo tray for better cable management, but that's a very minor con.

I literally don't use my 5.25 optical drive internally anymore. I have an external USB3.0 enclosure which has made my life so much easier. I hated the look of it in my case and it was one extra thing to cable manage too. Both of those cases are a bit too small to custom watercool in without modification if you want to put more than a processor and a low power consumption GPU in the loop. I have a case that is too small and made it work by cutting a huge hole in the top with a jigsaw. It worked, but certainly is not the easiest or most elegant fix....

Thats a very good point, the lack of cd drives, and that MIGHT just be what gets me to choose the 350d but on the other hand, ive also thought of just getting a USB external cd drive to compensate if i got the nzxt. Any thoughts on whether an external drive has any disadvantages to an internal one?

Only the occasional BIOS issue if you have an old motherboard/OS. Sometimes the drivers wouldn't load if you needed to boot onto a windows install disk. Never heard of that problem on any 2009-newer board.

That definitely would not be the case since all my parts are up to date and my OS is Win 8.1

To be honest, go for the NZXT. You can just spend the same amount of money on a USB to carry your OS and not compromise the great style of the case. Without the OD, thats one less set of cable you need to worry about for managing.

Personally i would go for the NZXT cases. Reasons being I dont need an optical drive at all since all my stuff work are stored in an external harddrive or thumbdrive. and if i really do need an optical drive i can always get an external optical reader. Eliminating the optical drive made my rig alot more cleaner and there are alot more option in doing things without the 5.25 bays limiting you. So personally I'd go for the NZXT. In fact im using the NZXT H440. Reasons are simple.
1) I don't need any optical drive activity.
2) The case come with 4 fans.
3) It hides my PSU (If you are using ugly PSU because of their stability and performance this is a huge plus)
4) It has quite a good amount of space for cable management if you connect everything correctly and neatly.
