So I got my motheboard years ago and I've been always wondering why my headphones were too low (using a Bose OE) I tried it on other motherboards like Asus and the volume was strong and clear. But when I plug it at my extreme 4 it's too low and yes I've downloaded the Realtek driver from the asrock website. Anyone have any ideas?

Which player (software) are You using?
In my case (990FX Motherboard) also with Realtek, the volume on the player is independent (at least in my install) from the System Volume, and on the player (Mediamonkey) was set low. After I changed that to maximum, the level can be lowered to zero or go up loud enough with the System Volume lever.
