Hello!
I am building my first PC for gaming(BF4, CS GO, Skyrim with ENB+tons of mods, and other random Steam games from my collection that is probably too big) and I have some quick questions.
1.) Any way this build could be cheaper with out losing any of the quality? I know I dont need that case, but I got it for free from a friend so discard it. Also, I have a 2TB HDD at home along with Windows 8.1
2.) Any idea of what performance I will get(1080P, mybe 1440P with 2 970's)
3.) Is it a good build?
Thanks!

It's a great build, but I would recommend one or two changes.

Add a cheap CPU cooler to be able to overclock your CPU. I recommend the Raijintek Aidos - it matches your build and is a really good little cooler.

Swap the RAM out for some red Kingston HyperX DDR3-1866. It'll give you some more overclocking headroom when you push it to its limits.

Get a Crucial MX100 SSD rather than the 850 Evo. I find it more reliable, and plus, who wants the 850 Pro's handicapped little brother?

Thanks! Do you think 650Ws will be enough for OCing the GPU and CPU once I get a CPU fan and case fans? Thanks!

Hell, even 550W would be enough. Enjoy your new build, I'm kinda jealous ;)

1. I would keep the power supply, because EVGA is the best power supply on the market, but you could go cheaper on the case. If you're looking for an ATX Mid Tower with a large side panel, I would recommend the NZXT Source 210 or the NZXT S340. Using one of those cheaper cases, can save you money, or you can get a 1TB hard drive along with the SSD.

2. This computer could run almost any game 1080p at 60+ fps. 1440p would be a different story. Some games this computer could run at 4k! This build on Far Cry 4, w/ 1440p, averaged 60fps-80fps. Every GPU is made different though, so the results may vary but would remain in that range.

3. I like the color-code in this build. Yes, this is a great first build and has the abilities to be upgraded! Good job!
