Hey guys,
I am building my first computer, realizing how stressful this is now. I have everything plugged in. I turn it on and everything lights up like it is suppose to. I plugged my cable into the Television. The first thing that popped up was connect video card to PCI-E. So i pushed in my video card more. Now the screen doesn't say anything. All it does is boot up, black screen, fans speeds up, then it just shuts down. That 's as far as i can get. nothing shows on screen. My build is as follows:

Motherboard: MSI 990FXA-GD65V2 Desktop Motherboard - AMD 990FX Chipset - Socket AM3+

CPU: AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W FD8350FRHKBOX Desktop Processor

Video Card: MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G GeForce GTX 970 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support G-SYNC Support ...

Powersupply: Corsair 750w

Ram: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL

Solution
What do you mean 3 power plugs on the motherboard? There should only be two, unless you're counting the long 20 pin connector + 4 pin.

I took it out of the motherboard and gave it another try. it at first sats something about the cpu and cable 11 I believe. But i couldn't read the paragraph fast enough before it turned off. I let it have it a few minutes and tried again. Now it went to the boot menu and almost let me press Delete. Then it turned off again. I have everything plugged in correctly. My motherboard has 3 power plugs, video card has 2 plugs. Took ram out and tried each one separate then with no ram. same results. Any thing else i can do? no speaker for motherboard.
