Hello, I think this is the right place to post this. I am currently in the process of planning and building a new computer. This computer will be used for gaming, (Starcraft, League of Legends, Command and Conquer, Far Cry, maybe Battlefield 3) on medium - high settings. Im trying to keep the computer cost down to around $800.

These are the parts I currently want to buy:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($200.00)
Motherboard: MSI H81M-P33 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($51.38 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($54.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($65.00)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($54.99 @ Amazon)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 960 2GB SuperSC ACX 2.0+ Video Card ($197.92 @ Amazon)
Case: Rosewill CHALLENGER ATX Mid Tower Case ($49.99 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: SeaSonic 620W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($99.00)
Total: $773.27

Do you guys think I should change anything? I've been reading that AMD CPUs arent that bad when it comes to light gaming, normal internet surfing and stuff. So, if I go with an AMD CPU and save some money, I can maybe get a better case.

Im new so any thoughts or improvements are all welcome!

Also, are the parts Im using from good manufacturers?

-Thanks, Alex

Firstly, if u r gonna oc the cpu then get a z97 chipset mobo. If u r not gonna oc the cpu, then get a 4690 cpu (non-k) instead of 4690k.
With nvidia cards u dnt need that much watts, jst get a 500w gold rated psu.
About ur cabinet, instead of those cheap looking rosewill, get a corsair carbide 200r.
You r good with an intel i5 for next 4-5 years, if u get an amd fx cpu, u'l definately save money but u'l hv to upgrade again in next 2 yrs. So stick to intel for now.
And yea, if possible get a amd r9 290x or gtx 970. It'l b a good pair with an i5-4690 cpu.
Gud luck for ur 1st build.

You will get better preformance in games if you downgrade the cpu and upgrade the gpu to a 970 or r9 290x
Your current build will be able to play all the games you stated at the highest settings all the parts you are buying are good too.

So i changed the MoBo and I was thinking about changing the PSU, but the thing is, what if i want to upgrade in the future?
Also, I cant afford a better GPU due to my price constraints, any tips on what I should maybe remove?
