Hi there,

I'm having a little bit trouble with my ASrock P67 Pro3 SE.

I was trying to put a new graphics card (PowerColor R9 280X) into my system (i5 2500k - 8GB Corsair RAM - Kingston SSD - old graphics card is a Sapphire HD 6970), but this new card won't show any picture on my screen.
So I've tried it with some other cards (another 280X from ASUS, and a MSI 270X), but my system will not start.

My last idea was to install an newer BIOS, so i did (all with my working old graphicscard). The update worked fine, but again, just with my old graphics card. The new ones won't give any signal. The newest available version of the BIOS for my Board was Version 2.20 from 7/12/2012.

For the completeness of my post: My PSU has a power of 650W and enough PCI-E 6+2pin-connectors, so i don't need any adapters.

Does anybody have any idea? I really don't no any further.

Try inserting your graphics card into a different slot. Sometimes different pcie/graphics slots seem to do different things.
Also make sure.....Some graphics cards need more power and will require an extra power cable coming onto the card or in a postion on the mobo next to it.

-Take any GPU out
-Plug HDMI/VGA/DVI into motherboard
-Load up
-After BIOS posts press DELETE
-Go into your chipset settings
-Change PCI GEN from AUTO to GEN 2
-Click save and shutdown
-Put in GPU and plug in PCIE 6pin or 8pin power connectors if required
-Plug HDMI/VGA/DVI into GPU
-Load up computer
