Ok i've been experiencing this problem for 1 week and its getting serious. My pc hangs when playing games and restarts and hangs again when i play games also when im browsing the internet. I changed the ram, hard drive, hard drive cable. graphic card, and re-apply the thermal paste on the procie but the problem is still there. The cpu temps are ok. I think that the mobo is the problem.

PC Specs are:
Winxp 32 bit
Intel Core2duo 2.93.ghz
Mobo: G31T-M7
2gb ddr2 ram(this is new)
Hard drive hitachi 80gb ( spare hard drive, coz my 200gb has a problem)
Geforce 210 1gb(new also)
300w power supply

I will post the bsod error message later. im using my other pc.

Im not a gamer, i just play games when im bored. Any help will be appreciated TIA.

You can try resetting your CMOS battery: http://helpdeskgeek.com/how-to/how-to-fix-stop0x000000f4-blue-screen-error-in-windows/
Also, according to this thread, when getting this stop code, you need to check your hard drive and cables. Re-seat the components as well. Check this out: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-performance/how-to-troubleshoot-and-solve-blue-screen-stop/dc00a824-74d7-43b3-9330-f2c6ba054731
You can test your drive with some brand specific(or a third party one) testing tool.

Hi there lazl0brav0,

After all the troubleshooting you have done, it seems that your PSU may be causing this. Unfortunately, the easiest way to check that out is to just borrow one from somebody and try it on your machine.
It will not hurt to update your GPU drivers as well.

Hope this will help,

Update: The PSU solution doesnt work :( ive changed it with my spare 500w true rated psu. I test game (nba2k12) which lagless even in high settings, then it hangs, blue screen. I really suspects that the mobo is the main problem. I cant get the error message this time but i will try :D . Any other solution/help?? TIA

@D_Know_WD thank you very much!! The problem was solved and I reached the 2nd quarter of NBA 2k12 lol :D (if the problem is there, I cant barely made to 2nd quarter). What I did is i transfer the sata cable to the main sata slot in the mobo, and I think it is the one causing the problem.(because the sata cable was in the 2nd slave sata slot lol) And also I reseat the cmos battery.

Thank you very much again!! Cheers!!
