But they are gonna be too expensive.... u guys think I should go and get the 280x in june because it will be cheaper then? It's my first pc build so I don't want to make the pc over powered.
 


Then May or June right when you are about to buy is the right time to post and look at the prices on what is available then. Planning ahead this far is impossible because of new releases and price fluctuations.

The 280 is a very respectable card, capable of playing all modern games.

AMD is right around the corner from announcing their next generation of cards (although somebody is ALWAYS right around the corner from announcing their next generation of cards in this industry). So if you can hold out 2-3 months you will see price drops and maybe a new model that better suits your needs.

AMD =/= nvidia they don't overprice their new cards well nvidia did a good job with the 970 pricing tho

i still cant forgive them for the 700 series tho the R9 380X will drop in between the GTX970 and 980 in price and should Outperform both
