Hello everyone. This is my first post here.
I have a problem with my pc. First off, I consider myself to be pretty tech savvy but in this instance I can't figure it out.
My computer worked one day. Then it runs out of power and I plug it in and start it, and when I do, it says that a registry file is missing or something, and gives me the following error code.
0xc00000e9
My laptop is dual boot, with Ubuntu and in fact, I'm using Ubuntu right now to type on this forum.
Problem is I use Windows 7 most of the time. But I know the problem isn't the hard drive being bad because I'm am running this off the HD and I can view all my files and personal stuff through Ubuntu on the other partition.
I've tried a repair cd I made last year. It won't boot in Safe Mode either.
So if you guys know what my problem could be let me know. I'm pretty sure it's not a virus. Cause I always browse the internet in virtual box. I know worms can get through but I'd say it's unlikely.
