Battlefield Hardline Low Fps issue??!!! Really need help!!!

Is it just me or am I getting horrible frames in Hardline compared to BF4?!, in BF4 i get around 135-170 frames (ultra) but in Hardline I'am only getting 75-90 frames (also on ultra). This is really weird since Hardline has worse graphics than BF4. Does anyone else have this issue or is it just me?! I cant play fps games on 100 frames and lower, so if i could get some help it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

What resolution are you playing at? Also Hardline is the same as BF4 like BF4 is the same as BF3. They are reskinned and textured games not a new engine. Also Check that you have the latest drivers.

I play at 1080x1920 and i have the latest drivers. And bf4 and bf3 are not the same engine BF3=Frostbite 2
BF4=Frostbite 3

sorry same game, and you are right different engine. However BF4 and Hardline are same engine which doesnt make any sense as to why one game your FPS is high and the other is low.

The game is still pretty new and may not be optimise driver wise yet. I would try updating your GPS drivers. Also what settings are you play at AA etc.

I actually dont play with aa in hardline but in bf4 i play with 4x msaa wich makes it even more weird that i get less frames. I looked around a bit more and some people have said that it's a punkbuster issue but I'am not sure.

punkbuster is an issue, i know for BF3 i had an issue with crashing, and it actually was worse for me in BF4.... I removed it and downloaded it manually and installed it and it worked fine after that. You can always try that.

You can install Punkbuster by going on the installation folder of the game There's like an extras folder and it's usually there. I used to have problems with Hardline too. GTX 980 SLI here. I used to have microstuttering until I started using Nvidia Inspector. That fixed everything and now it plays the game smooth as silk.

UPDATE
Sorry. I won't be able to link the Punkbuster installation either. I'm here at work and all the game sties are blocked lol.

Did not make a big difference in performance only about 5 more frames with 4xmsaa :/ I hope they release a fix for this since it's ofc a big issue. I mean 150 frames in BF4 and 90 frames in hardline........ come on.

And if this has anything to do with it, my harddrive has 19,6 gb of space left.

You can use Iobit Smart Defrag to defrag your hard drive. Just install it and use the Defrag and Optimize option. Granted it'll take a while since you probably have a big driver but 19.6 GB left? Also you're supposed to defrag your HDD once a week lol.

Temps are fine (86c on the gpu and cpu around 50c) I think it's a problem with old gen graphics cards (700 series) But I'am not sure at all :/
