Hi everyone i have a Pc with Asus p6t deluxe v2 motherboard and recently i felt the need to increase the ram of my pc. Being naive with most of the technicalities involved in the choice of the right ram i bought 3x4GB HyperX Fury blue --- Part Number: HX316C10F/4 Specs: DDR3, 1600MHz, CL10, 1.5V --- the problem is when i plug them into the motherboard i get three outcomes: the motherboard reads only two or one of them depending the spot i plugged them in, the pc won't boot and it always will not read them when the other 3x2GB sticks i previously had are plugged in too. My question is: should i return them or is there a way to make them work? Thanks for any help!

Sounds like your 2GB sticks aren't playing nice with the 4GB sticks. Did you put the 4GB sticks in the same slots as they 2GB were in when you tried it? Try running memtest86 on the new ram one stick at a time to see if it throws errors. Try at least 6 passes to see if heat causes any errors if the sticks don't show any errors in a quick scan. http://www.memtest86.com/

If everything passes then you may need to see if playing with the voltages can make it stable. If you don't feel comfortable doing that then you may want to return the ram for sticks that are on the Asus site under their QVL memory tab.
