Hello,
I am trying to upgrade my system a bit with more RAM and a new graphics card and I've run into some issues.
Specs:
Motherboard - INTEL DQ57TM
Graphics card - GEFORCE GTX 750
RAM - Corsair 1333 MHZ 8 gb kit DDR3
Power supply - stock 350 watt
HDD - 1TB (trying to install new Win7, old HDD crapped out)
Firstly, I can access bios, but only if I'm using the graphics card. Different monitors do not make a difference, nothing displays without the graphics card.
The 2 sticks of Ram seem to be working properly, and BIOS is registering them with proper specs.
It only seems to happen when the OS or When i try to install windows onto the HDD.
Ive tried everything I can think of. Removed the battery for a good chunk of time, tried different setups with and without ram or card. It did work with only the old 2 gb RAM and Graphics card, and I am very sure this motherboard supports up to 16 gb and DDR3 1333..
is it possible the system needs a better power supply or are there other options? Really stumped on this one.
Thanks in advance.
