Hi, so I've been playing around with several pc builds and have finished with this one, I need to know if it's going to be running most games at ultra at around 60fps. I did have a 4690k but wasn't planning to overclock so I used the i5 4460 instead. Any links to benchmark videos with these parts would be great as well as any improvements.

P.S. My budget is £600, no more!

Thanks ;)

Close, mebbie not with anti-aliasing on. The r9 280x is a good 1080p gaming card. Certainly is the best you will get for the money.

Edit:
You could go with an amd fx 6300 + mobo and save a little money, but it wouldn't be enough of a savings to get you to a gtx 970. So i would keep the i5.

Sorry i'm a noob but whats anti-aliasing, isn't it something to do with smoothing the edges of things? :p

Overall, you have a very solid build there. The R9 280X should be great for Ultra 1080p gaming, and for the majority of games, should get 60FPS. If you want more FPS or a higher res, then a GTX 970 is the one for you. But that's over your budget. Stick with that build!

Anti aliasing is pretty much getting rid of jagged edges, so you are correct (smoothing the edges). There's MSAA, FXAA, FSAA, and TXAA?

Yes, it reduces the jagidness of edges. There are lots of different methods of AA out there too.
