I have a Dell OptiPlex 760 SFF that my son built using recycled parts for a HTPC. He wants to start using it for moderate gaming and the low profile GT 630 leaves a lot to be desired. I am looking for the best video card that will fit in the small case with limited height and width.

Solution
None of the currently available GTX 9xx series cards are low-profile.

The best low-profile card available (if you can find it) is a GTX 750ti, but even that would likely require a power supply upgrade which isn't very likely either.

Something like asus's GTX 970 mini could work. Doesn’t state what the space inside I have to work, but this most likely will fit (Going off the outside dimensions)

What about a 960 as they have a lower power draw than the 970?

Unfortunately, the card has to be low profile and only single slot width. There are other components that are next to the PCIex16 slot.
