Hey everyone,

My PC seems to have gotten itself into a boot loop and won't let me even get to the BIOS.

Before I go any further, here are the specs for my pc:
cpu: i7 2700k
gpu: EVGA GTX 670 FTW
psu: Antec HCG-900
mobo: MSI Z77A-G45
ram: Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600mhz(2x4)
HDD: WD Black 1TB
OS: Windows 8.1

And here is my story:
I built my desktop about 3 years ago and it has been working perfect since. However, over this past winter my computer all of a sudden fell into a boot loop and so I cleaned the dust out of it with a can of air thinking the problem was a short circuit. That worked for me and just to be safe I also switched the dimm slots for my ram from 1 and 3 to 2 and 4. This worked for me and it lasted about 2-3 months.

However, Just a few days ago I shut down my computer for the night with no issues and then the next morning when I started it back up, I am in another boot loop and cleaning the dust out isn't working. I can't even get to BIOS since it doest get that far before rebooting.

Here is a list of what I have done so far:
1. I have reseated all of the components onto the motherboard.
2. sprayed the dust out of my case incase that was causing a short
3. done every combination possible for installing RAM (Using only 1 stick and using 2 sticks)
4. removed all unnecessary components and left only the cpu, 1 ram stick, and the psu connected
5. reset the CMOS (my board has a button to reset the CMOS)
6. tested my ram on a working mobo and it worked fine so the ram is good
7. check that the 24-pin and 8-pin connectors for the power supply are seated tightly on the mobo

All of this has had no effect and I am beginning to think that my mobo randomly bricked itself overnight. Actually I am hoping that that is the case since it would be a cheap fix compared to my cpu going bad.

Before I buy a new mobo I was hoping to get some input on other possible fixes and whether or not it actually is my mobo. I would rather not buy a mobo and then find out that my cpu burnt itself up or something. And if anyone has some recommendations for a mobo to buy next for my PC please post that as well if you can.

Again, I would really appreciate any help or advice anyone can give me on this.
