Keyboard keys won't type cause of accidentally hitting a filter key I want to disable all of the filter keys how do I do that?

When typing I on occasion I sometimes have hit a filter key which in turn disabled all of my keyboard, this time I just hit a bunch of keys and somehow it started typing again but I don't want this to keep happening how do I disable my filter keys?
