My desktop my laptop and my printer are all connected wifi to the same router/modem. When I try to create a home group network each computer says it cannot find the other computer on the network. Why might this be?
Thanks. Could you explain a little more which passwords you are referring to. The modem/router has a common password that any device connecting to it uses. So each computer and printer has this entered and that allows each to link to the internet. With both computers on and linked to the internet satisfactorily they still do not recognise the presence of the other one

Yup, i mean - password for computer, not internet.
Do you have any firewall programs aside from the Windows one running, if you do, disable and try again. Are they all added to the same Workgroup? Open a command prompt and run the "ipcofig" command, make sure the IP address (aside from the last number), gateway, and subnet mask are the same for all computers.
