Hey, I'm wondering is there any good gaming vpns that i can buy?

I will mostly use the vpn for gaming and alot of browsing to, so i need something good.

Ehm currently where i live (In sweden) theres fiber cables that are being installed as the community where i live wants that and i'm getting my fiber internet in a couple of months.

My internet is going to be matching and i'm getting 1000/1000
but i'm probably going to get
500-700/500-700
As it says so on my fiber ips website.

So i want something good that will support my speeds and i can be gaming and doing stuff on it.

Thanks.

Pretty much it is you get what you pay for. VPN that can run at high bandwidth rates and don't cap you tend to be a little expensive....they are massively abused by the torrent guys so they have to make up for all the bandwidth.

VPN will almost always make your gaming run slower because you are almost always going more distance and the overhead of the VPN itself. It only improves the speed when you ISP has poor connectivity to the ISP the game company uses. The location of the VPN center and its ability to connect to you and to the game company are critical questions which is why nobody can really tell you a fixed answer since it depends on your ISP and which of many games you may play.

Pretty much you should not need a VPN to play most games and it actually degrades most of them. You would only be concerned about a game that exposed your IP address. Pretty much these are things like console games where there is no hosting server between the users. You actually need a special form of vpn that allows you to port map ip into your network from the vpn, most you share a IP with many other users.

I am not real sure that someone can do much to you if you have a 1g connection. The only real way to attack that is with a DDoS attack and it costs lots of money to rent the services that can send 1g of traffic for a extended time. Nobody can do much from their home machine because they would have to have more upload bandwidth than you have download. You for example could denial of service attack someone who had a DSL connection because your upload bandwidth is so high but in general attacks are extremely rare.
