Hi all , i need some advice on a problem i have encountered , i have a fx8350 cpu unclocked, m5a97 pro mb , msi r9 285 2gb gpu , 8gb of ram , 700w psu . I have a real odd problem of when i start a game after about a minute the pc turns itself off and i have to switch the psu off or pull lead to restart . The odd thing it does not happen in arma 3 often which is very cpu intensive but all others . I have run prime 95 and temps never go above 50c , i have run heaven in ultra and that is fine too . Its just when trying to play games any suggestions . i can track a log in event viewer that just states, kernel power event 41 the generic error i have noticed a aoddriver 4.2.0 error the system cannot find the path . would this be anything related?
update : i have since tried to reproduce this without playing a game and have found that i can if i run prime 95 and heaven together at same time its almost instant . I presume this means that it must be psu issue
