cant play games..why

hi I have a pc with

-intel(R) core(TM) i5-4460s CPU@ 2.90Ghz
-4gb ram
-Nvidia GEforce GT705

is this suitable for gaming pc? why cant I seem to run any game such as dead island or skyrim? these games are so laggy and slow even at its lowest graphic option

Gt 705 is a very poor gpu for gaming. If you want to play skyrim and dead Island at reasonable frames rates you will need a gpu upgrade.

The CPU is decent, but you need a stronger GPU.
If you have a budget for a new GPU, give us your location, and we can try to find something for you.

Switch over to the integrated graphics in your CPU. It'd be stronger than the gt705.
