I'm having issues connecting to the internet through my on-board NIC. The wireless card I'm using is working fine but I cant get "Local Area Connection 2" to connect. It says "no internet access." Tried updating my drivers and it still wont work. This never happened with my old motherboard so I'm guessing it has something to do with that. It also just happened at random. Any ideas?

Try unplugging the router from power supply - wait 10 secs - plug it back in.
Then let it sync and show all is okay before trying to connect to it.

Also, trying to use a NIC whilst WiFi card is installed can confuse Windows.
If you want to use the NIC, remove the WiFi card.

Ive had it connected forever. literally since i built this computer. Why would it confuse it at random?

fixed. even though i had reset the router, computer, and disconnected and reconnected the cables multiple times i did it again just for shits and it works now. I have no idea what the issue was.

only solution i have is comcast sucks.
