pci-e 2.0 vs pci-e 3.0

Hey guys i have a i5 2500k with only pci-e 2.0 support its a 3.0 16x pci-e i have my mobo but sandy only suports 2.0 with gtx 970 would it bottleneck by alot or a little amout also i will be playing with 1080p

not at all, only very high end cards benefit from the extra bandwith of the pci ex 3.0
