I just put together a new system last weekend using an Asus Z97-A motherboard and Intel 4690K CPU. The on-board graphics seem to work fine, I'm not doing any gaming. Is there a graphics card for about $100 that would give me a significant boost? Currently I have a monitor with DVI and a second monitor with DVI and HDMI.

This looks like a good one but I want to get the best bang for the buck. http://amzn.com/B00IDG3NDY

your systems PSU / full spec will help.

PS- just curious, are you going to OC? looking at your cpu and mobo it seems like one

Asus Z97-A Mobo
Intel 4690K CPU
550W Antec Neo power supply
16GB RAM - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428

I might play around with some mild OCing, I'm using the stock air cooler that came with the CPU. I'm also not sure how much faster I can go since I only have 1600 RAM.

the 750 ti s good. the r9 260x will de a bit better.

if you can extend a bit , get the gtx 760 or the r9 280 ,but seeing that you dont game , any cheap card would do

PS- you have a nice setup over there

ocing the cpu helps a lot more than ocing the ram. from what i heard ( i dont oc much) OC ing the ram cuts rendering times by minutes , while oc ing cpu does it in hours( thats what i heard, from an ocer, but genrally rendering is better with a decent GPU)
