Front Panel Audio Help! (not stupid I promise)

Ok! So I got a motherboard with the following audio pins (see picture from manual) and I got 2 sets of 4 wires for my front audio (not sure which one is mic and which is headphones). Only problem is the names on the wires and the names for the pins in the manual do not match up in and good order. And there's an extra two pins on the motherboard I dont have cords for. Help?

Unfortunately that didn't work. I followed it exactly except for some differences: I don't have a Ret L or Ret R cord, but I replaced it with my R-in and L-in cords as they were not used elsewhere. I also have two Mic-in cords and they only have one, so there is one of those hanging out. Other than those differences I did as the instructions on your link said but to no avail :(

Do you have another set of pins on the motherboard as usually there's 2 sets 1 for hd audio and the other for ac97 . You will need to know what driver you have added to know which set to use. Sorry the diagram did not work .
