Actually, most games will still work if you relocate them to another drive. For example.. if you have a game like Dead Island installed to C/Program Files x86/Dead Island... and decide to create a folder on Drive D for all your games and moved Dead Island to D/Games (or D/Program Files/Dead Island)... or what ever name you want to call that folder on the other drive... the only thing you'll need to do is go to the install Folder and find the EXE that starts the game, like DeadIsland.exe and create a desktop or start menu shortcut so you can start up the game.
I know that works because I've done it before.. In fact, it's great having your games on another drive so if you ever need to reinstall Windows on your C drive... you don't have to really worry about reinstalling all your games... Most can still run without any problems.
