Hi guys, I'm up to speed with the 970 problems and i would stil buy it if only i would not be so confussed about what i'm seeing. On one hand i see a lot of videos of people maxing demanding games with little to no stutter and on the other hand i see videos of people having all the problems in the world with the cards rangeing from stutters at 3.5gb used or low gpu usage and whatnot.
The card, when it works it's a beast and i would really love to buy it this second, but when i see alot of other people having all those problems with theirs ,really makes me want to reconsider and buy a 980 ( i don't really want to buy a 980 as i'm on a tightish budget)

I know this sounds like first world problems :)) but i really am at a crossroad and i don't know what to buy. What would you buy ? considering the fact that if you would buy a 970,there would be a chance that you would have the problems stated above.

TL;DR Buy 970 and risc having imediat or near future problems or buy 980 and pay more money? I don't want AMD btw. Have a nice day, guys :)

I have the MSI 970 Gaming , it's a beast and no stutters.

I think you will be fine with a 970.

Have you tried maxing settings in your games ? I'm not saying i will ,but i would like to hear more feedback of how it handless maxing out games. I'm gonna game in 1080p with little to no AA in games, but i do want everything else max out, that is the eye candy for me :D.

^Same, My 1st pc and I have a gtx 970 and play through an asus vh278he monitor and its super smooth and handles every game i own on ultra. Even played the witcher 2 on ultra with uber sampling. I had to replay it because it felt like a whole new game.

I have yet to see a single legitimate review where they have experienced any significant issues with the GTX 970 and its memory. The only time when they have been able to show even a slight issue is when they have specifically tried to force the problem to appear through settings that are well beyond what anyone would use in normal gaming.

Thank you all for the replies. I'm aware that there isn't a reviewer that didn't find the card a beast, but i'm more curious of how other people that have the card think it is. I will get this or the 980 gtx in about two weeks when i'll have the money, until then i will have to decide...sooo any feedback ,positive or negative, would be appreciated guys :D
