So i was originally using a Seagate 1tb as a boot drive, but i soon ran out of space, so i bought a 2tb drive. After plugging in the drive it wouldnt be seen in disk manager. But it was seen in BIOS. So I switched the 2 sata cables connected to my 1tb hhd and 2tb sshd, and it booted fine from the 1tb hhd but it still didnt detect the 2tb sshd.
Any help?

Can you clarify where you are looking for it in Windows? Does it appear in device manager, or the disk management console? It certainly won't appear in Explorer until formatted. If it's in Disk Management it would appear now as an unallocated space on it's own row.

maybe u need to update your BIOS because i faced the same problem before
update your BIOS and try to contact to your motherboard manufacturer and ask if your motherboard model is support 2TB HDD or not
