Motherboard case compatibility.

So, I have an MSI A88X-G45 motherboard, and was wondering which case would be compatible.
Just in case I got the motherboard name wrong, here is the link to the one I got: http://www.amazon.com/MSI-Computer-Motherboards-A88X-G45-GAMING/dp/B00IC5XZ98

I was wondering if I need a full tower to be able to fit this one in, with every hole being able to be screwed in. I tried putting it into my mid case, and it fit, but not every hole was able to be screwed in. I think I had 4 to 5 holes that were empty. My current case is a mid cooler master case, with the orange trimmings and vent on the front. I can't find it online.

Thanks, in advance!

IF you previously had an mATX board in there, which is possible, you probably need to move or add some standoffs. Here's the patterns. If the board fits physically and there are additional threaded holes in the case frame itself to move standoffs to match those on your board, it will work. Make sure not to leave any standoffs in positions that don't correspond to a mounting hole on the motherboard, still in the case, or you'll likely short something out and ruin the board.

Ok, so I think I had an ATX case, then. This would be an ATX case, right: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119218

Thats the one I currently have. Can I install additional standoffs into my current case?

Yes, that is an ATX case, if that is what you currently have you can use it without modification. Your MB and case will have 9 holes which match up perfectly. Fill the case holes with standoffs (9) and screw the MB into them.

Just line up your holes in the motherboard to the case, there will be 9 stand-offs total. ATX cases come with a variety of holes, since they'll fit not only ATX motherboards, but also smaller mATX, so make sure you get the right ones. Overkill isn't necessary either, just down till they are snug.

Just a word of advice as well. If you're running that case with just the rear 120mm fan that came with it, I'd highly recommend installing front and side 120mm intakes to supplement that if you're upgrading to newer hardware. Especially if you're using a 100w TDP FM2 processor and a gaming card. If you have already added those fans, no worries. A single rear exhaust just isn't enough for even an entry level gaming machine.
