Hi, I ordered a bunch of parts https://pcpartpicker.com/user/leafdude/saved/#view=yzHscf
and only got some of them a year ago, and because of that I gave up,but now I'm trying to make a new build with a budget of $1000 and I'm really lost, as it's my first pc build, over if I should restart or use those parts. I also realized that my case has compatibility issues with the motherboard and it's just a case so I feel i don't need it but if I do restart I could still use it
if someone wants the story i ordered the build parts and my moms credit card denied it as fraudelent activity since it was unusual and large sum, and then after being informed she didn't tell me for 2 months that the parts were denied! I still got half the parts though which was weird. but the whole situation just made me really mad b/c i forgot alot about the build in those 2 months

Well, that motherboard is cheap, but just good enough to handle an FX8???
Your PSU is intended mostly for office and productivity machines, not a high-performance gaming system.
Your memory is slower than I would like.

Can you ship the parts back or must you eat the cost? That would heavily influence my decision.

no i have to eat the cost, and from what you're saying it sounds like it may be better to scrap them

It's kind of against my religion to throw that much away. You could use some of the parts for a school, productivity or HTPC system. Know any friends or family you can sell them to (you could build a second system to get a complete use of the parts)? The memory is only a bit slower than I would like. I could live with the one or two FPS hit in games. It's the power supply that bothers me the most.
