Game Starts Lagging after 15-20 Mins

From the last few days , whenever i launch a game it starts lagging after 15 mins play. I've never experienced this before. Please i need some help.

SPECS:
INTEL CORE i5 3470 ( 3.2 ghZ )
RAM : 4GB
GPU : NVIDIA GT 630 2GB

Check your resolution of your game it not 1080p if it higher resoluion plzz reduce the graphics resoultion keep on 720p and lower than 1080p/check the graphics quality of your gaming ultra or high settings it keeps your game laggy because graphics card is not affordable to handle it on high or ultra setting keep your graphics setting medium/low or very low.low graphics setting handle it very fine.so,i hope it willl solve your problemm quickly try thiss..

Install Intel XTU and let it run in the background while gaming. When the system starts lagging, check if the CPU was running at full speed or if it throttled. If the CPU is fine, then your GPU may have an issue. I presume you game at a very low resolution with that GPU that isn't really appropriate. An Intel i5-3470 and a GT 630 are not a good match.

I Will try this but as far as a "good match" is concerned , I've had this GIG for over 4 Years now and I game on high resolution. Everything runs smooth and great but form last 4-5 days , i've been facing this problem . Will cleaning the fans of CPU and GPU solve my problem ??

Yes if they are clogged up and either the CPU or the GPU throttles, but you haven't checked if that's the issue or not.

Definitely sounds like overheating problem.
Replace the thermal paste on the CPU and clean graphics card and cpu heatsinks.

If it's not overheating problem, must be a game that uses up all available video memory and starts using system RAM instead (much slower).
