Might as well be a new build, general questions and suggestions.

So I'm pretty much redoing my whole build, trying to spend as little money as possible.
The only things switching over is my 2 x 4gb ram modules and my Zotac Nvidia 750ti.
Just wondering if there is anything I can do better/cheaper.
If any new case suggestions I'd prefer it to be a full tower, and come with fans (unless cheap fan bundle is sneaking around somewhere).
Also like to have a 2.5 SSD slot and screw less HDD slots.
The build:
I7-4790k @ $339.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117369
MSI Z97 @ $89.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130779
EVGA PSU @ $44.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA24G28N1805
DIYPC Skyline-07-R Black SECC ATX Full Tower @ $89.89 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811353039

I would spend a little more on the motherboard,
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-z97sslikraitedition

better psu and cheaper,

another nice modular (semi) psu,
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/antec-power-supply-hcg520m
or with maybe sli in mind,

I think that if a case has two fans min, you're already good, this one would be nice with that board in it,well imo,
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-case-cc9011053ww
you could add some fans to it.
or

if you don't need a dvd player,
for a good price another one...
Cases are kind of personal, there are other good cases around that size for similar price but not that I'm aware of with that many included fans. Usually cases come with up to a few fans, not 7. Not sure what your typical usage for the pc is. Depending what you may want to upgrade in terms of gpu in the future, the power supply might be a little under powered. Plenty for the 750ti since it's really power efficient and has low requirements but a future upgrade could change that unless you'd rather just cross that bridge if/when you get there.

Can't really comment on diypc products, I've seen them cropping up lately. Fans can get expensive but 'cheap' fan bundles might leave you with lesser performing fans in terms of noise and airflow. Might be worth taking a chance on and if the fan's don't pan out (ie, too loud or something) just plan on replacing them. You might find you don't need all 7 fans.

Depending what you use your pc for, you might be able to save money on the cpu unless you really want the i7.

Well I already do stream, as NVENC is a great thing but with games like Dragon Age: Inquisition the CPU caps out (current CPU is a terrible A8-3870k), and I guess I'm sorta adamant about the 4970k, as I want a CPU that will last until the eventual upgrade to DDR4 CPUS and such.
However I wouldn't mind going lower, for the CPU price, really just want something that can handle gaming fine with a little power on the side for other things, and the PSU can go higher for eventual upgrades, though I like to make big leaps and bounds when I upgrade so by the next time I want to upgrade the GPU in mind will most likely be a Nvidia 980ti (assuming its out then)

with these do you save some money for the better board. For sli you might better get the/a bigger case.

Thanks, I really like the look of the NZXT case, and it goes nicely with the mobo as well, will be changing the parts out for those.

It's fine without a DVD player, other than for consoles haven't stuck a CD into a PC in years.
